Hants and Surrey Borders RDA Incorporating Carriage Driving

It's what you CAN do that counts

Badshot Lea Village Infant School

Dear RDA Team,

Badshot Lea Village Infant School

Our village school has welcomed the RDA Team for many years now. Each Thursday, weather permitting, the horse boxes arrive in our
car park to the delight of children attending our Special Needs Support Centre.

Many of our pupils have complex special needs. They may have speech and language delay, physical challenges or social and communication difficulties. It is testament to the RDA Team that even the most anxious child, the child that has no language or the child with profound physical challenges develops confidence, begins to utter words or enjoys the freedom of movement whilst riding.

The wonderful support of the RDA volunteers is crucial to the success of horse riding at our school. Their patience, care and understanding ensures our children enjoy horse riding whilst developing physical, emotional, social, and life skills. What a fantastic way to learn!

Thank you to all members of the RDA Team.

Yours sincerely
